Here are the photos taken by students in class based on their hand
sections
from a variety of plant tissues. Although the sections could
always be
thinner (don't I always say this?), many of the important
characteristics
of parenchyma, collenchyma, and sclerenchyma cells can be seen.
The first image shows potato tissue stained with iodine.
